The Pinery Provincial Park Road Races begin at 9:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 19^th, 2008. Registration will be at the Parks Store ( same place as last year ). Awards will be at the Outdoor Theatre next to the Visitors Centre. If weather is poor for the presentations, the Awards will move into the adjoining Visitors Centre. This excellent venue and race course will be a fast out and back run. There will be a 100 metre Fun Run for the little children. Children are asked to bring a Teddy Bear for their entry fee. There is no need to enter previous to the run. Just come and bring your Teddy Bears. We will donate these Teddy Bears to the Kause For Kids Motorcycle Parade 2008 which is held in November of each year. These Teddy Bears are then given to needy children throughout the area.

Use of the roadway…… Runners will be able to use the entire roadway after the 1st kilometre. Enjoy!

Then the highlight of the day are two beautiful runs that are out and back. Both the 5 and 10 kilometre will start and finish from the same time just outside of the Parks Store. All runners will run in a north easterly route to their respective turnarounds. Both runs will start at the same time.
