The National Do Not Call List is designed to reduce the number of unwanted telemarketing calls and faxes Canadians receive.

You can register your home phone, cellular and fax number(s). Signingup is simple, quick and free. Click on the button above to go directly to the site. The online address is  www.LNNTE-DNCL.gc.ca.You may also choose to call the toll-free numbers 1-866-580-3625 or1-888-362-5889 or fax to 1-888-362-5329. You need to call from thenumber you want on the list. You will  need to renew yourregistration every three years if you want your number(s) to stay onthe National DNCL.

Paying your local phone bill is convenient with Hay.

  • Automatic Bank Payment
    Have your service paid for automatically on the 21st of each month and still keep on top of your account with a monthly statement. All you'll need is our Automatic Withdrawal Form and a void cheque.
  • On-Line Through Your Bank
    Hay has arrangements with most major banks allowing you to pay on-line via your BMO, RBC, Scotiabank, TD, CIBC, or Credit Union online banking sites.
  • In Person
    Our office accepts MasterCard, Visa, Debit, Cheque and Money Orders.
  • By Mail
    Be sure to include your cheque.

If you receive an unpleasant call, hang up and dial *57. A special tone will confirm the call has been traced. The number will only be released to the police.

Get through to busy numbers as they are free. When a line is busy, hang up. Pick up the receiver and press *66. Hang up. The line is monitored for up to 30 minutes and you will be notified by special ringing when the line is free.

Seasonal Packages
Are you a non-permanent resident? Hay's seasonal service is for you. Following are some of the terms and conditions of seasonal service.
  • Use of the seasonal rate will retain your telephone number when you return.
  • Only private lines equipped with touch-tone are available for this service.
  • Suspension of service can only be requested for maximum of six months.
  • All accounts requesting Seasonal Rate service must be set-up on preauthorized account payment using bank withdrawal or credit card.
  • A one time charge for use of this service will appear on your telephone statement the month after Seasonal Rate is requested for $57.00 Residential and $120.00 Business per activation.
  • Use of company issued calling cards will be allowed during the seasonal rate period.

$20 an hour (one hour minimum, billed in 30 minute increments thereafter at $10.00)
