**Important Notice to Hay Email Users**

SPAM ALERT - Recently some of our customers with Hay email accounts were sent an email asking them to reply with their email address and password or their account would be terminated.

Please be advised that we would never request your email in this manner. Nor would we ask that you send your password to us by email. Your password is private and you should never give it out to anyone.

I received the message and replied - what do I do now?

We banned the intended recipient address from receiving any responses to this spam email. However there was a short period of time before this was completed once we were informed of the spam email.
If you have concerns, please call our office at 519-236-4333.

If you received the message but did not reply, simply delete the message from your inbox.

December, 2011 - Harlie Johnston of St. Joseph's won the draw for the Apple iPad 2! Congratulations Harlie. Along with his great new toy, we gave Harlie a choice of a charitable orgainization in which he could donate $100 in his name. His choice was the Grand Bend Community Fund, The Environmental Legacy Fund.

December, 2011 - We had a great turn-out for our annual Christmas Open House on December 15th. The winner of the gift basket with the Hay Gift Certificate, etc. was Keith Locking.

We hope everyone had an opportunity to take part in one, or several, of our "100 Years of Service" Celebrations that took place during 2011. We look forward to another century of great service offerings to our loyal customers.
We still have copies of the history book, "Connecting Our Communities" if you are interested in some great historical pictures and events from this area and the telephone company. They are free and we have them at the main office in Zurich.

Update - Exciting News. In last month's newsletter we reported that we would no longer be able to carry the Sun News channel. This has been withdrawn and the channel will remain on our service!

August, 2011 - Detroit Feeds of the popular U.S. Network stations: ABC, CBS and NBC in High Definition are now available and included when you subscribe to our high definition service.

Prism-911 is an emergency notification system currently operating in Huron County. It uses a telephone system to notify residents and property owners if there is an emergency situation they need to be aware of. You NEED TO REGISTER to be put on the calling list...
